First a little background: In the South SLO County Lucia Mar Unified School District we have many Title 1 schools. All of you donors donated $131,178.58 in cash over the year, and we distributed $124,702.44 to our partner agencies in 2025 for over 550 requests for urgent or emergency assistance! We and all those clients in need truly appreciate your generosity and big hearts! This does not include all the in-kind donation

Holiday Potluck Winter Food Baskets Teachers’ School Supplies - Take 2 Next Potluck Projects Update Help and Items Needed Update on Funds Received Thanks to Donors Where the Money Went Holiday Potluck Oh What a Night! The Potluck at Candace and Phil Guldeman’s was a roaring success! The potluck had the highest attendance and the highest donations ever for our home-based potlucks! There were 60 plus people and we raised almost $5,000! The decorations were out of this world

We filled up the barn with food This year we shared our “horn of plenty” with 220 families – a 20% increase over last year. Since we canceled our Winter Break food drive, we added some much needed basic food needs to our food list - rice, beans, flour, sugar, cereal, milk, masa and oil. The average price of each Thanksgiving Food Basket this year was about $80 which is equivalent to a total value of $18,000! Where does one begin to express gratitude at this time of the yea
