We have 3 programs that go on all year long.

Monthly Food Distribution

We work with SLO FoodBank, the Lucia Mar school district and our volunteers to make the Food Distribution happen. We distribute food on the second Tuesday of every month. We do have a group of volunteers that come on a regular basis, but if you are interested in checking it out, we do accept 4 new volunteers each month. Why not turn this into a group outing?

 

​Laundry Pop Ups

The South SLO County Womenade's Laundry Project Team holds pop up laundry events at laundromats in South County locations. These laundry pop up events are opportunities where SSCW volunteers can connect with the community while alleviating the cost of laundry. For two hours, everyone who walks into the laundromat gets their laundry fees paid

Lunch Buddy Program

We work with South County schools to provide weekend lunches to students in need. We have groups and teams that sponsor the schools and are currently working on ways to open this up to more volunteers.
