More Potluck Details - Frequently Asked Questions
What does my $50 donation cover? Your donation will be distributed to agencies in the community (see current list here) that address essential, immediate needs for individuals and families in South San Luis Obispo County. With your support, we can provide help exactly when and where it’s needed most.
Can I meet the agencies you support? Yes. Representatives from many of the agencies we support attend the potlucks to introduce themselves and share their impact in the community.
What dish should I bring? Bring a dish you enjoy preparing, whether it's an appetizer, salad, casserole, vegetarian option, meat dish, or dessert. Our potlucks usually have 35+ people in attendance, and it always works out that all the stages of a meal are covered.
What is the dress code? Please wear what you are comfortable in - jeans and tshirts to dresses and heals. We just want you to be comfortable.
Is this event for women only? No. Men are welcomed and encouraged to participate in our work and events.
