Updated: Jul 23, 2020

Meet our sponsored agencies and see how you've helped. 2020 is off to a great start for South SLO County Womenade

Hard to believe that we are at the end of January 2020!  We have a new logo and it speaks to our mission of meeting emergency unmet financial needs with open hearts and hands to those in need in SouthSLOCounty.

As a reminder, the agencies and programs that South SLO County Womenade support are:

  • South County Youth Coalition – and their 3 programs SAFE ( Services Affirming Family Empowerment) programs in south county through their family resource centers in Arroyo Grande, Oceano and Nipomo

  • The Link in south county with offices at Judkins and Mesa Middle Schools

Current immediate emergency needs:

Oceano Family Resource Center. Stella Medina is working working with a grandmother who is raising her seven grandchildren.  She gets no support from either one of their parents. Three of the children have beds with holes and the springs are popped out of their mattresses. I am looking for three twin mattresses/box springs or twin bunk beds and one twin bed for this family.  Please let me know if you can help with this request and we will connect you with Stella.

Countynurses are in need of safety equipment for their clients housing ie; Baby gates, door knob covers, plug covers, stove safety devices, etc.  If you have any of these items that you are no longer using and still in good condition, please let us know and we will connect you with the south county nurses.
