April 1 to April 30

Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted, like shampoo, laundry detergent, tampons, diapers or toothpaste.
Many people locked in poverty or those who find themselves in times of crisis often have to make impossible choices; heat their home, pay their rent, buy food or keep clean.
Hygiene poverty restricts people's opportunities to fully participate in society. It affects people's mental and physical health and can impact early childhood development, learning, employability and social interaction.
This is our 8th annual hygiene drive. These are very difficult times and many in our community not only don't have enough to eat but have to make drastic choices including not buying hygiene products. Hygiene products cannot be bought with "food stamps". All donated hygiene products will be donated to people in need in south SLO County! Robin Pisz is the project leader and has created the following two documents.
Below are two documents:- The first Hygiene Driver Flyer is a flyer detailing what the particular items we need and the ways to purchase and places to drop off
